    The participants

    • 90 producers and wine merchants (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Chile, South Africa...).
    • 100 buyers (importers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers) from all over the United States, Canada and South America.

BCI works in partnership with economic missions established in targeted countries (5 offices in the U.S.) in order to guarantee meetings with qualitative buyers.

WWM is the only convention which takes the time to do a rigorous selection of its international wine buyers:
    - pay a registration fee,
    - must be accepted by our selection board,
    - must be able to provide solid references from current suppliers,
    - be in a position of responsibility to make concrete buying decisions and to specify price points, quantities and appellations required.

    • The convention enables you to have targeted, pre-programmed and confidential meetings with buyers from the United States, Canada and South America.

Depending on which package you have chosen, you will either have a meeting timetable just for your company (individual package), or a meeting timetable where you meet importers at the same time as another company (shared package)*. With the shared package, each company has 20 minutes to present their wines. Your timetables will thus be identical.
    * you decide which company you wish to share with.

    • The meetings take place in the business Suites: you just need to bring your samples. You need to bring enough of them for the convention and the meals.

Each producer has his own prestigious Business Suite:

    • An independent meeting area fully equipped: sofa, work table with 4 chairs, kitchenette, full-size refrigerator.
    • A personal area: bedroom, bathroom.
    • A kit including 12 glasses, 1 spittoon and 1 ice bucket.

The Suites will be your bedrooms as well.

    • The meals: 1 official dinner and 2 lunches are taken together, giving a new opportunity to taste your wines to the buyers and giving you 3 more occasions to meet new buyers.

Your Suite will be set up as an office so that you can meet the buyers in the best possible conditions. You will also be sleeping in the same room. A glass service will take place twice a day. You need to vacate the room each morning from 7-9am so that room service can prepare the room for your first meeting. Please note that English is the language used at the convention.
